Our certifications and approvals
SRA certification :
insurers' demands for the safety of your two-wheeler
Created by a group of insurers, SRA (Sécurité et Réparation Automobile) certification assesses the resistance of locks for motorcycles and bicycles. It applies to mechanical and electronic devices such as U-locks, chains, disc-locks or connected locks, by testing their effectiveness in the face of theft attempts: hooking, sawing, bolt-cutting or drilling.
When an anti-theft device is SRA approved, it means it meets strict specifications validated by insurers. It is recognized as sufficiently robust to offer a high level of protection.
At Auvray, we develop bike and motorcycle locks that meet SRA certification requirements, while also offering products certified to other reference labels such as ART.
Each solution is designed to offer a level of protection adapted to the type of two-wheeler and the expectations of insurers.

ART certification:
European standards for your bike and motorcycle locks
Originating in the Netherlands, ART certification guarantees the level of resistance of your anti-theft device, whether for a bike or a motorcycle. This seal of quality is awarded after independent tests carried out according to strict criteria defined by insurers, two-wheeler manufacturers and consumer associations.
Each approved anti-theft device receives a rating from 1 to 5 stars, depending on its performance against theft. The higher the number of stars, the higher the level of protection. For bicycles, a 2-star certified model is already considered sufficiently secure by Dutch insurers.
Motorcycles, on the other hand, generally require a higher level of protection.
Choosing an ART-certified anti-theft device means opting for equipment that has been recognized, tested and adapted to the requirements of insurers and users alike.

Protect your two-wheelers with ARGOS certification
ARGOS is a system set up by insurance companies to combat two-wheeler theft. By engraving your vehicle, it is registered for 6 years in a database that can be consulted in real time by all law enforcement agencies in France and Europe.
This database, which includes over 20 million vehicles, enables the rapid identification of stolen two-wheelers and their spare parts. In the event of theft, specialized investigators throughout Europe can locate and recover your vehicle more easily.
With ARGOS, you significantly increase your chances of finding your two-wheeler.

FNUCI: the official, traceable identification of your bike
The FNUCI (Fichier National Unique des Cycles Identifiés) is the official database set up by the French government to combat bicycle theft and fencing. It is managed by an association approved by the French Ministry of the Interior, responsible for supervising registration and access to this information.
When a bike is marked by an authorized operator, its unique identifier is registered in the FNUCI. This number, visible on the frame, enables law enforcement agencies, local authorities and professionals (dealers, workshops, impound yards) to quickly identify a recovered bike, even without its owner.
At Auvray, we offer identification solutions that comply with FNUCI requirements. Having your bike marked is both mandatory for all new bikes sold in stores (since January 2021), and above all essential to maximize the chances of recovering it in the event of theft.
AUVRAY is approved as an identification operator for the ICA Bike and SPEEDMARKING solutions. These products make it easy to identify, locate and return bicycles.
